Good to see Sara in the studio again for an update of her modeling portfolio. Using specialized equipment to evoke the feeling of film, we shoot a variety of images that reflected Sara’s natural translucence.
Group photo at the The Royal Yacht Britannia, enjoying champagne and food. Steven had great fun setting up the photo shoot, moving furniture around and organizing such a large group. Our sincere thanks to the staff who were friendly and went above and beyond to make the visit exceptional.
We have been photographing the Toft family every year since the children were babies. They invited us round to their beautiful house, and the conservatory provided a gorgeous setting for the photoshoot. This time the whole family wanted a picture together as relatives were over from the Ireland. Steven had great fun and looks forward to seeing the family again next year.
Fred the Lizard is a beloved family member. As he was reaching his senior years, his family wanted photographs to celebrate his birthday. Steven and Fred got on really well, and Fred was fascinated to watch Steven work. We were delighted to work with such a great model, who displayed true star quality.
Steven and Angela were asked to photograph Vicky and Ian’s wedding at Canongate Kirk. Snow and wind could not dampen the spirits of the wedding party. As part of the Scottish Regiment, Ian wore his dress uniform, and was accompanied by an honour guard, bagpiper & drummer. The bride arrived in grand style in a classic 1920s Rolls Royce but had to be ushered quickly into the church as snow began to fall. The multitude of guests piled into the church courtyard, creating a lively atmosphere as the honour guard presented their swords and the happy couple processed from the church. The reception was held at the Balmoral Hotel on Princes Street, whose staff greeted the couple warmly, providing bubbly and food. The grand centrepiece was a “cheesecake” made from wheels of gourmet cheese!
Angela found an amazing kimono in a vintage emporium and we took time out to shoot some images. Reminiscent of the 20’s/30’s, we created a portfolio of low key images which can be seen on display in the City Cafe.
