Edinburgh music promotional photographs: Last month, Blues musician Ken Scott booked a studio sitting at Donald Photography. In preparation for a festival up North, Ken needed some promotional photographs for his fliers. For his studio sitting and a digital print, he paid £55.

As a local Edinburgh musician, having promotional material is vital. These photographs will additionally be used for Ken’s social media presence, as well as for his fliers. With just Ken and his guitar on a plain white background, these photographs are simple yet effective.

August was a busy month for Edinburgh musicians and performers, with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the music festival in Inverness. Therefore, is a key time for independent artists to promote themselves and increase awareness of their craft. During the festival period, Edinburgh’s population doubles. So, with over one million visitors to the city, this was the perfect time to get new photographs printed!
