Merchant Hall Wedding
The wedding of Sally and Doug took place in Edinburgh on the 19th January at The Merchant Hall . Donald Photography was there to capture some lovely moments. A Merchant Hall Wedding.
In the beautiful surroundings of the Merchant’s Hall, Sally and Douglas said their “I dos” in front of family and friends. The ceremony was very traditionally Scottish, they tied their tartans and even drank a dram o’ whisky. The bride and groom then walked through the busy town centre to have their photographs taken. Certainly, Edinburgh provides some dramatic backdrops. Using recognisable landmarks, such as the Walter Scott Monument, the Balmoral and the National Gallery, will add a sprinkle of ‘wow factor’ to photographs. Adding something extra special to Sally and Douglas’s photographs. The newly weds smiled and laughed with each other as they posed for their pictures.
As the ceremony was in January, the temperatures got chilly very quickly and the sun sets early. So the rest of the wedding party headed to the reception. Here, family and friends posed with the bride and groom. With the bold red background, we are very happy with how the photographs turned out. Everyone looked great, but the bride stole the show in her satin ballgown wedding dress.
Donald Photography wish the newly wed couple all the best for their future!
